Our staff want you to have a life-changing experience at SpeakOut. It is our desire that you grow in your relationships with other believers, as well as in your relationship with God. We want to equip you for a lifetime of service as well. We will work to meet these goals in two ways at Speak Out.

Inward Growth: This comes in the form of personal Discipleship. You will be discipled one-on-one by a trained group leader. Also during your group discipleship time you will study the Bible, hold each other accountable, share your victories and concerns, and encourage each other to grow closer to Christ through your experiences at Speak Out. Last summer we studied material about a New Covenant approach to your life as a child of God rather than living by a set of rules and expectations. It was a challenging subject for staff and students, and we plan to provide a similarly challenging topic of study next summer.

Outward Growth: This is done by evangelism training. Cru provides time-tested material called New Life Training Curriculum, or NLTC.  NLTC has been used for many years to train both staff and students. Cru staff will provide this training for all STINT, staff, and students at SpeakOut. In addition, materials such as Josh McDowell’s “More Than a Carpenter” and other apologetics material will be included in your training. It is our desire to equip you for ministry during your time in Hungary, and also for when you return to your college or high-school campus in the United States.
